Dynamite Foothills at 118th Street and Ranch Gate Road
The Dynamite Foothills area will soon see a new luxury neighborhood of 42 single-family homes on a 68.6-acres northeast of the intersection of 118th Street and Ranch Gate Road. Sonoran Peak, LLC will construct the gated development that features an entrance on north 118th Street and have Natural Area Open Space (NAOS) per City of Scottsdale requirements.
Sonoran Peaks intends to incorporate sustainable building practices when constructing the homes, which will have contemporary architecture that emphasizes Southwest living. A homeowner’s association will also be established to maintain common areas. The Dynamite Foothills has has a rural desert character and remains largely undeveloped, with gorgeous desert vistas and broad open space. The development boarders on Arizona state lands to the east, while several other high-end luxury developments are located to the south and east. The new homes will remain in character with other area neighborhoods. Plans call for trails within the development for hikers and bicyclists that will connect with Scottsdale’s trail system.
Residences at 118th Street and Ranch Gate Road will sit on lots ranging from .75 acre to 1.5 acres, with most averaging one acre. These large properties will give residents unobstructed views of McDowell Mountain, Troon Mountain, Pinnacle Peak, the Continental Mountains and four Peaks.
