Scottsdale Ranch is a 1,110-acre ”progressive residential community” with a population of over 7,000 living in about 4,000 homes. It’s located in northeast Scottsdale near Lake Serena, just east of McCormick Ranch and west of the Salt River Indian Reservation. Its 40-plus neighborhoods, constructed between 1984 and 1999, are home to a diverse population with a variety of residence styles that include waterfront homes, several townhome communities, private patio homes, tennis villas (Racquet Club at Scottsdale Ranch) and spacious single-family residences.

The United States Tennis Association named it an outstanding public tennis facility in 2019. Just outside of the park is the Via Linda Senior Center, the boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and Laguna Elementary School.
