Food Fests

Scottsdale Culinary Festival

This one-day event, sponsored by the Scottsdale League for the Arts with a floating date that ranges from January through April, is a one-day lifestyle event that celebrates fine food, fashion, music and dance. Held At Scottsdale Civic Center Park, the festival is slated to return in 2023 after a several year hiatus due to Covid. The event features cooking demonstrations, interactive experiences, a wine and spirit festival, cocktail parties, and more.

 

Arizona Taco Festival

Two days of love, peace and tacos take place at Bell Bank Park in November. If you’re wondering who sells the best tacos in the Phoenix area, this event is your chance. The Arizona Taco Festival sells tacos for $2 each. The event features lubra libre wrestling, a Chihuahua beauty contest, taco eating contest and a tequila tent.

 

Phoenix Pizza Festival

Do you want to know who has the best pizza in Phoenix? If so, go to the Phoenix Pizza Festival at Margaret Hance Park in Phoenix where you’ll find more than 20 pizza makers selling all types of pizzas by the slice and as full pies. The event features live music, vendors, kid’s activities and more. The event sells out annually, so get your tickets ahead of time.

Celebration of Fine Art

Held annually from mid-January through the end of March, this annual showcase in Scottsdale features nearly 100 artists in housed in the “big white tents on Scottsdale Road.” The Celebration presents a wide variety of art in all styles.

 

McDowell Mountain Music Festival

The two-day McDowell Mountain Music Festival, now located at Margaret Hance Park in Phoenix each March, raises money for local charities. It features food, an exclusive VIP area and kid’s activities. Music ranges from R&B, Cajun, SKA, bluegrass, jazz and electronica.

 

Carefree Fine Art and Wine Festival

Thunderbird Artists host three festivals annually in Carefree, along with several others in the Phoenix Valley. Thee nationally acclaimed, juried fine art festivals attract artists and collectors from throughout the United States and abroad.

 

Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts

Held twice annually in the spring and fall, this three-day juried show on the Avenue of the Fountains features 500 artists along with food booths, rides, and entertainment.
