This charming yet affluent area of central Scottsdale has a village-like atmosphere and a wealth of shopping, eating, and drinking options. McCormick Ranch is Scottsdale’s oldest planned community, constructed on the land owned by Fowler and Anne McCormick. After Anne McCormick’s death in 1970, the ranch land was sold to various interests, leading to the development of the McCormick Ranch Golf Club and its surrounding residential communities. Today, this 3,100-acre planned development is home to over 14,000 residents.

Single-Family and Carefree Multiple Living Options
With its stellar location, lying between Indian Bend Road on the south and Shea Boulevard on the north, the town of Paradise Valley on the west, and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to the east, it’s no wonder that McCormick Ranch was the first area to see major development in Scottsdale. It’s made up of primarily spacious single-family homes, with some luxury estates and carefree condos and townhomes.

McCormick Ranch has a storied history. Prior to its development it was a “real ranch” owned by a granddaughter of John D. Rockefeller, Sr., and her husband.
