Carefree Golf & Country Clubs

Golf is a big part of life in Carefree. So if golf matters to you, it makes sense to know the clubs first. This guide gives a simple overview.

The Main Carefree Golf Clubs

The Boulders Club has two courses, North and South, set among granite boulders. Desert Forest Golf Club is a private club known for its natural desert design. In addition, Cave Creek and North Scottsdale courses are a short drive away.

Homes Near the Courses

Many golf buyers start at The Boulders or Desert Forest. Others choose a custom home on a larger lot nearby. Each option has its own price range and style. Therefore, it helps to tour a few before you decide.

Public, Private and Membership Rules

Course access varies a lot. For example, some clubs are private and require a membership. Others may offer limited public play. Also, buying a home in a golf community does not always include playing rights. So always confirm membership type, fees and wait lists before you buy.
