Local guide
Fountain Hills communities offer a wide mix of homes and lifestyles. For example, some buyers want golf. Others want views, privacy or a low-maintenance condo. This guide helps you sort the options quickly.
Golf is a big draw here. In fact, FireRock Country Club, Eagle Mountain, SunRidge Canyon and Desert Canyon are some of the best-known names. Many homes also face Four Peaks, Red Mountain and the McDowell Mountains. However, views can change a lot from one lot to the next. So it pays to look at each homesite closely.
Buyers who want space often start with Crestview, Eagle Ridge, Eagles Nest and Golden Eagle Estates. These areas feature larger custom homes. In addition, many sit on elevated or private lots. As a result, prices can vary widely, even on the same street.
Not everyone wants a large yard. For instance, seasonal residents often choose condos and townhomes. Popular choices include Balera, Four Peaks Vista, Diamante Del Lago and Mirage. These homes also make a good fit for second-home buyers. Still, it is smart to review HOA rules and fees first.
First, list what matters most to you. Then compare price, lot size, views, HOA fees and drive times. Finally, tour the top two or three areas in person. You can also browse every one of our Fountain Hills communities and homes for sale with current listings.
