Explore Mesa Communities: What to Know
Mesa is one of the largest cities in Arizona, so it has a wide mix of neighborhoods. Some sit at the foot of the mountains with golf and views. Others are newer master-planned areas or established streets close to downtown. This guide helps you see the options before you start touring.
Golf and Mountain View Communities
Las Sendas sits at the foot of Red Mountain in northeast Mesa and has its own golf club. Red Mountain Ranch is a gated golf community nearby. In addition, Mountain Bridge is a gated area close to Usery Mountain Regional Park. As a result, northeast Mesa is popular with buyers who want views and quick access to the outdoors.
Newer Master-Planned Areas
Southeast Mesa has many newer communities. For example, Eastmark and Cadence at Gateway offer parks, pools and community events near ASU Polytechnic and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. However, HOA fees and rules vary, so check them early.
Established and 55+ Options
West Mesa includes Dobson Ranch, an established area with lakes and a city golf course. Central Mesa has historic districts like Evergreen near downtown. For buyers 55 and older, Leisure World, Sunland Village and Sunland Springs Village are popular choices. Therefore, there are options for almost every stage of life.
How to Narrow Your Search
Start with your budget and commute. Then think about lifestyle, such as golf, mountain views or a short trip to Main Street. Next, compare a few areas side by side. You can browse all Mesa communities and homes for sale any time, or contact The Holm Group for a short list that fits you.
